Any dealer should get it for you in 2 days surely?

I see that part number is listed for AUM, AUQ engine codes and is for the front sensor, not the one behind the cat.

Hi Mick, all the ones Ive talked to say they don't have them (VW included), some even said it would be the new year before they could get one.......I suspose its just a bad time of year, but I need the car back on the road sooner than that!

I'm gonna try ringing more places in the morning, just figured I'd post my query here too

Ah ya, it just the holidays I guess. They can usually tell if there is one in the country or whether it has to come from factory. If there is one in dublin, it should be got quickly. Have you tried the motorfactors, Some do a line in lambdas. Ive never bought one so I dont know what kind of range they carry

Its unlikely to be a stock part in most places and everything will be closed up for the holidays so ordering parts will be out.

Some of the aftermarket parts suppliers are open for a few days between Christmas and new year so I'd say that might be your only home of getting one sooner then January.
