    Hi,

Going to Madrid in February for a couple of nights midweek and I am looking for a reasonably price hotel in a good city center location.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

    Thanks.....

Stayed recently in the Hotel Catalonia Gran Via. It was a 4 star but in reality a 3 star. It's right in the centre close to Gran Via Metro Station and Sol. Rooms are a good size for a central hotel and cost us €89 per room which is reasonable. Place was clean and quiet with a good shower which is all you want. Have stayed in numerous hostels around there also for around €50 per night but they are hit and miss sometimes and can be very noisy late at night. The hotel was worth the extra money.
