At what stage to chuck garlic cloves in with the roasties?

    Hey, I'm doing roast potatoes and onion later (nyom :) ) and I was thinking of firing in some garlic cloves at some stage during the roasting process. I know there's a way of roasting garlic, involving a water bath but I won't have the means to do that today. So, at what stage should I add the cloves? How long do individual cloves take to roast?
