Drove around town last night and could see there was a fire brigade truck and another fire brigade with a huge ladder over the Kings head last night around 10 o'clock. Big crowd watching by the looks of it but anyone know what was happening?

I'd say the fire station would know. Give them a call.

Em, just in case anyone does ask, yes that was an automobile submerged in the water at Woodquay this morning.

Chimney fire in the Kings Head.

Two units of the FB. A big area of pavement closed off in case anything fell. Some rather nice looking firefighters. They'd been there for a while by the time we arrived at about 9:45, and were still well enscounced two pints later.

I put a pcture on facebook ... not sure how to share it to here.

Wonder what state the Head is in today, they won't be amused if they lose Christmas trade over it.

Thanks, just a bit of noseyness on my part.
