    Coming up on the show:

00:00 - Munster's win over Scarlets yet once again an average performance (Pool 1).

13:00 - Ulster's 2nd bonus point over Aironi and what new signing John Afoa has brought to the table. (Pool 4)

18:00 - Leinster's stunning win over Bath. Jonny Sexton in the form of his life in blue colours along with the emergence of the formerly maligned Devin Toner. (Pool 3)

28:00 - Same old story for Connacht, another plucky loser tag! In France, Harlequins stun Toulouse in a tale of 2 All Black flyhalves. (Pool 6)

33:50 - "A pool characterised by mediocrity". Possibly the poorest pool for a long time in the competition, as Cardiff & Edinburgh lead the way but fail to impress. (Pool 3)

35:50 - Ospreys' efforts to rid themselves of their star culture hasn't paid dividends, as Saracens do the double over the Welsh region. (Pool 5)

37:20 - A look ahead to the Stephen's Day interpros in the RaboDirect Pro12 and the chance they present to up and coming youngsters.

42:00 - Talking Rugby's Christmas wishes, which include coaching changes at provincial level, the re-employment of certain national coaches, a new head at NAMA and using the intellect of a school child to fix the scrum!

Jaco's knowledge of Ulster Rugby is unbelievable, before the shows he would mention youngsters not even in the sub academies that are cutting it up in the AIL.

One third 6Ns win against England, one third HEC final, one third WC win against Australia

Didn't get to hear much of it. But I thought it was a lot snappier then the last one. I enjoyed it more because of that. Once again largely agreed with opinions and enjoyed hearing them. Good show.

Rumour is some jerk who was on it cut and run halfway through and he was trying to get away.

    What an assh*le.

As a matter of interest, errlloyd, do you feel that it being snappy or shorter is preferable?

Episode 20 should be up by tommorrow, we have delayed the review of 2011 till next week because of our discussion on the IRFU foreigner rules this week.

Really good podcast. Well done. The panel have a lot of expertise, have good discussions, and add in pretty much the right amount of humour. It's a very professional product so well done to everybody involved.

If I could offer one constructive criticism, there tends to be an awful lot of agreement among the panel so discussions can be a little superfical. I think it would be a little more interesting if there were contrary opinions being explored, although that would put much more pressure on the moderator. For instance everybody on the panel said "Earls isn't a 13", and then the conversation moved on quickly. It would be more interesting if there were people debating differing opinions.

I appreciate you cover the new NIQ regulations in the new podcast which I haven't listened to yet so maybe you're doing this already. There are frequently contentious issues on the boards which could be covered in the podcast. For instance today there was a disagreement on whether the union have sufficiently supported Connacht, and some rigorous debate on these kind of issues would be very interesting. This forum does generally tend to defer to posters who are held to have particular expertise, especially on Connacht and Ulster issues, and it would be interesting to explore some of these contentious issues. Again I understand this would put significant pressure on the moderator.

Finally, as you have probably the only fans podcast in Ireland, I wonder could you use that to secure occasional interviews with coaches/ players and pose to them some of the questions raised here which the media do not raise. For instance, I'd like to hear Ireland/ Munster have the opportunity to explain why they think Earls is a good 13 as a clear rationale hasn't really been offered to fans, or Ulster explain away some of the criticisms posed by jacothelad. The game is only professional because of fan support after all. This is probably over-reaching, but as the only fans podcast it may be possible.

I think the podcast is really good, but my suggestion is that a little less agreement might lead to a more provocative and interesting debate. It is a very good product as it stands though. Well done to everybody involved.

    Cheers for the feedback.

We may have someone on from the IRFU in the not too distant future, so he may provide a perspective that we don't have.
