If you email the taoiseach you will wait a few days and get a generic reply from someone who is more than likely overpayed, but whats new, god forbid anyone would contact the leader of this country and expect a reply.

But it seems we are only CUSTOMERS
The Department of the Taoiseach is committed to providing a professional, efficient and courteous service to all our customers
What a great country we live in :pac:

    PS. Grammar Nazis feck off

    Ok proper response:

Im pretty sure the email system for the dept of the taoiseach's inteded use is for administrative and important queries, not from a lad born in 92 whose balls have yet to drop who wants to know will the government endorse My Chemical Romance

    That better?

You could write to him and tell him you want to change some stuff. But you lost the receipt. Ask him is it ok, the customers always right anyway Enda

I dont expect someone who is busy giving his mates money that exceeds the pay cap to reply to me personally.

I just think maybe the mandatory reply on his behalf shouldn't call irish citizens "customers".

Customer is an overly generous description if you ask me.

    Customers get choice.

    Customers get service.

Customers have rights protected by law to return faulty goods.

Customers don't have to be customers at all if they choose not to.

Sweet Jebus if only we were customers of the government!

It shouldn't surprise me seeing something so stupid posted by someone with bebo in their username but somehow it still did.

Yes, we are customers of the government. The OP didn't sound surprised, either. We pay the government to do the things that commercial businesses won't do because they don't make a profit. We should at least expect value for money from it. They work for you ... allegedly.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

It's just part of what's called New Public Management. We pay for services that the government provide. I don't really care if the government calls me a customer or not.
