My (first) provisional is out of date tommorrow
Will it be ok to leave it until after christmas to renew it or will letting it go out of date mean having to do the theory test and all that again?

So long as you get it done in the next 5 years you'll be alright ;)

    Thanks! :D
Never thought it would matter much but still planned on getting it before it expired, then when I realised it was out tomorrow a few people said I'd be better off getting it tomorrow incase you have to re sit the theory and all that jazz.
That's great though really couldn't be bothered going into the tax office with all the christmas traffic tomorrow then waiting around in there for ages

No problems renewing, but it does mean no driving until you do go for the new one. It can all be done by post though.

Of course :) Insurance is out at the moment anyway and won't be renewing it for a couple of months
