Is she chipped??? If so ring the IKC and give details so the details can be sent out to vets, pounds etc

Suggest you email a photo + details of where/when she was lost to cspca@eircom.net
Also ring the Cork Pound: 021- 4285404 and also report her missing to the following number: 021-451 5535 between 10 am - 4 pm in case she is picked up by the Dog Warden . Additionally give the Cork Pet Lost & Found Helpline a ring on 086 2112850.
Finally might be a good idea to let the lads in the Carrigaline & Crosshaven Gun Club know as likely they would cover a lot of the ground around there and may pick her up for you.

Hope you find her soon as there nothing worse than losing a dog - especially a good one....

    Good luck.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions but got her back this morning. She hunts with a small pack of beagles and teagles and a woman thought she was a stray and picked her up.

Brilliant news Corkdogs - glad you got her back. You can relax for Christmas now. My SS went awol for 2 1/2 hrs last summer. Was the longest 2 1/2 hrs of my life. Was hoarse from calling and whistling!

thanks lads, she was lost i think because we were hunting a fox that was travelling to breed this time of year, the hunt went on several miles in a straight line, she will hunt on mad with hounds but got thrown out near the end and the woman who picked her up thought she was a stray as she was covered in muck as she was hunting through bogs all day.glad she is back as she is a good honest bitch to try cover and hunt a line.i've pups off her here too back to a good beagle dog that i have high hopes for if they are anything like their parents.
