What part of Ireland is the old ESB add set in?The one with the dusty springfield song

I believe the pub the car passes by is the George. One thing is for sure, no f*cker in the ESB will be emigrating, with average wages of 80,000 euro and their own union rep calling them 'spoilt brats'.

The train station at the beginning is Rush and Lusk station.

I was just about to ask the same questions myself, I love it!!

I believe the "Jacobs Well" pub is in Rathdrum, I was there a couple of years ago and the sign was still there.

would love to see a current image of whatever village the car passes through with the river, where is it, Rathdrum from a different angle maybe?

My hunch is that it for expenditure/location reasons it was probably done around Co. Wicklow with regard to proximity to Dublin?

Would love more info..

The ad in question is airing in slightly re-edited form at present as part of the campaign for ESB's supply arm's rebranding as Electric Ireland.
