Hi all, my fiance and I are currently trying to plan our Honeymoon for August next year.
We had been thinking of doing a week mediteranean cruise and then a week being lazy somewhere warm in Italy.
Trouble is we don't really know where to start :) Trying to find a cruise package that will allow us to remain in Italy and transfer to our chosen hotel.

Has anyone done something similar to this ?

Can anyone recomend a good mediteranean cruise ? Or honeymoon spots in Italy ?

You should get onto travel Councellors. They will get you the best deal. We did a med cruise and Italy was one of the stops, but not the final one. You might find it hard to get one that either starts of finishes in a particular place.
Italy is gorgeous, but places like Naples are definatley not a honeymoon spot.

Fly into Naples and get out of there as quick as you can! Naples is a horrible city. However, it is the closest airport if you want to get to the Amalfi coast which is a really beautiful place. Amalfi and Positano are both lovely places and very popular with honeymooners. If you do decide to go, don't hang about Naples at all, head straight down the Amalfi coast.

Another recommendation for Amalfi, lovely. Also if you want to combine beach and Tuscany Via Reggio is lovely, we stayed in Lido di Camiore, you are also very close there to Piza and the Cinque Terra, giving you loads of options is your want them.

    Best of luck

Looking at Sorrento for our week relaxing, has anyone been ?
Is it an expensive spot ? Suitable for honeymoons ?
Looking at the Hotel Bristol in Sorrento , but seen its used by Thompson for package holidays and we're not sure if that means it'll be full of package holidayers instead of being a nice romantic spot.
