    Hey guys,

Anyone know if you can board a flight to the UK with either the NUIG card or the student travelcard? Or would your student id be classed as a work id?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Dave

    Says on the website

Travel between Ireland and the UK or UK Domestic travel

Citizens of Ireland and the UK must carry some form of official photo identification. The following forms of photo identification are acceptable:
    • Valid Passport
    • Drivers licence with photo
    • International student card
    • National ID card / Government issued photo ID cards
    • Health Insurance cards with photo / Social security cards with photo
    • Bus pass with photo
    • Work ID with photo

    http://www.aerlingus.com/help/help/airportinformation/

Do a search on that page for "UK Domestic Travel" and it'll give the list of valid IDs you can use. I don't know if the NUIG ID is classed as an international one or not. I've never had to use it.

I think you can use your ID but it depends on the Airline. I would ask er Lingus beforehand.
