Pothole in Industrial Estate, Little Island, Cork

I believe there is some form of claim procedure if you hit a pothole and it totally buckles your wheel ?
I hit a monster one last night in an Industrial Estate in Little Island, so where do i stand on this, if the hole is in an estate like this rather than on a road ?
It has buckled my wheel and i don't know if it has to be replaced or not yet but the tyre is definitely gone.
    Any ideas or advice ?

best thing to do is contact the council and ask them.
happened to my bf before and they were going to pay out then said that because they were unaware of the pothole they couldnt be liable for it and he got nothing

Industrial estates are often private not public roads...if it was this one then by all means join the queue.

No, it's actually in the Harbour Point Business Park, Little Island.
Have a pic in my phone but it was dark there last night.
Going to go back down there when bright to take another picture !
