    looking for advice on which is a good model PS3 to get, what sort of price i should be paying and im looking for a PS3 that can also play PS2 games from cd.

    Highly unlikely you will get one of these. Only launch models had this capability. Unlikely someone will part with one.

    If you really want to play PS2 games then my suggestion is to pick up a 2nd hand console from Gamestop or someone like them. I got one a few months ago for 40 or 60 Euro.

    In terms of a PS3 - there are a few deals out there - anywhere from 220 upwards...
    Enjoy though - probably one of the best purchases out there for the range of things you can do with the console.
