wobble bolts

    im pickin up a set of 15" alloys for my Punto to replace the 14s

    problem is the new allows are 4x100 and the punto are 4x98 so was told to get wobble bolts

    anywhere round meath sell them?

    Driftworks are the only place iv seen them.

    Iv never seen them stocked anywhere here.

    Try Urban performance, 32tuning and tuning-factory.
    None of them are in Meath though.

    im gonna get them in East Coast Alloys up in Ardee, 16 bolts and spigot rings for 45 quid, not bad i guess

    plus the rims only cost 50 :D

    what tyre could i put onto a 15 inch tyre for the punto?

    That depends on the offset of the wheels versus the factory offset and if your car is lowered or not.

    dont know about all this offset lark, but on the rim it has 16.5j, guessin thats the width of it or something

    when you go to the tyre fitters ask for a budget brand
    there is different brands just like cloths nike, dunnes stores you get me

    i get my tyres at hanover tyres mine are 15 inch and are 65 euro a tyre

    is a 195 tyre like massive? be some diff to a stock 165? iv 175's on now and there fairly wide so will they be 20mm wider or what way is it?

    You kinda have to know about it if your going to fit aftermarket wheels on your car. The fact that the studs match up(almost) is only one part of wheel fitment.

    If the offset is too high above the factory figure then the wheels could be rubbing on the suspension and if its too low they could rub on the wheel arches when you go over bumps.

    6.5j is the width of the wheel alright, offset is how far in or out it sits from the hub when its mounted.

    You should see an offset figure stamped somwhere written usually like et35, et45 or whatever. Your original wheels should also have the same marking so you can compare.

    and bear in mind you may have to have the bolt-holes on the new wheels drilled a fraction to allow for fitting the wobble bolts.

    Shop around i got Toyo T1-Rs for £29 a tyre from camskill,they are a very good budget tyre

    ok so the et on the 15" alloys is 40
    and cant see anything on the punto wheel?
    what if they dont fit? is there a way to make em fit
