Portlaoise Sorting Office

    I had a parcel delivered from China with EMS which says on their website arrived Monday. Anyway my question is can I ring Portlaoise and arrange to pick this up from the sorting office as I need it for Christmas and don't want to risk it?

    Collection pre delivery attempt is not something you can do. You may wait for a delivery, or attempted delivery before collecting from your local mail centre. If it's in Portlaoise now it should be delivered tomorrow.

    If it's valued at over €22 then it may be held by customs, in which case you most likely won't get it by Christmas.

    I have a parcel in that sorting office since monday how long does it take for delivery coming from America with USPS so I thought I could just pay the customs when they delivered it?

    I'm sure they'll make a mess as per usual with the price of the customs!
