Parking during exam period

    Hey,

    just wondering if anyone knows what its like at exam time trying to get parking on campus? is it as bad as during the year? or is it not as bad or is it worse?!!
    would greatly appreciate any info.

    I never had a problem, for the last three years. And with six exams each crimbo/summer I was around a fair bit.

    As far as I know the bamping clastards won't be around either. They only inflict their evil during term. But I don't know if there's confirmation on that.

    Our wonderful private clamping company certainly shouldn't be around during the exam period as it says here on the parking website on nuim that there is no enforcement of clamping from 19th December 2011 to 27th January 2012: http://campusservices.nuim.ie/traffic/
    So that will already make the parking situation better by not having them around. And as others have said parking is always better anyway during exam period.

    To be specific, permits will not be enforced during that period. APCOA will likely still be around to enforce the use of disabled spaces, double yellow lines, etc. So parking somewhere inappropriate, or that is not an actual space, will still run the risk of being clamped.
