Ebay re registration

Quick question:

Does anyone know how to contact ebay about a login problem?

I cant remember the password, it wont accept my security question answers. Fair enough. They asked for a phone number to call to veridy my account, but it won't accept the the phone number (I tried ti with and without the first zero and with and without the country code, but I can't get the format right and there is no exampe)

I registered a new accout, but I can't pay for anythign because the email differs from that of my my paypal account!

So, how do I buy something, or do I have to create a new email, ebay and paypal account to get aroudn this?

(Also, does nayone know how to keep the settigns in english even when you're in a foreign counry? They dont want to answer that oen, either)

The settings are based on what site you log in toeg if you log in to ebay.ie, .co.uk, .com etc the site will be in english, if you login to ebay.de it will be in German etc. As for the actulal listings these will always be in the language that they were listed in regardless of which site yopu are actually on.

In regards to paying for something the email addresses on PP and eBay do not have to match so you should not have any issues paying via PP.

I know from experience how far you are getting on eBay and am familiar with the window where it asks you to enter a phone number .- But is is not accepting a number no matter what you enter .
Move over to the right-hand-side of the webpage , and you should see an option to bypass this window .

If not , just ring eBay on your mobile phone and it is freephone 1800 948 010

You will get through up to midnight at least.

Anyway, I sorted it out in the end and managed to get it, but had to go through the same **** with paypal. Now all that leaves is to work out how to stop the page translating everything into a foreign language just because I happen to be in that country.
