Coming out in France

Saw a few coming out stories and thought would throw mine out there. Im 29 now but came out at 20 to two of my best friends when we were camping in France! It was a warm summers evening and after frying up cheap steak in wine (plonk was 50 cent a bottle) I got rip roaringly drunk! Discussing relationships with my friend I told him at the time I was bi and was mad about a bloke whom we both knew as a mutual friend ! To cut a long story short my friend told me he knew all along (he knows me better than I know myself), fast forward eight years later and the other lad who was on holiday with us came out too! Since then life has been good to me. My partner has a good relationship with my family (my ma keeps on calling him son in law!), my friends get along like a house on fire and well, the world is at my feet! What am I trying to say? Not too sure I guess its just take those first tenative steps and come out to a close friend or family member and go from there. Sincerely I hope the world is as good to other LGBT people as it has been to me :)

Right better sign off and do some work!

Happy Xmas all and Happy New Year!
