Looking for recommendations on a GPS app for hill walking / running for a Samsung GS2 in the wicklow mountains. Need to be able to plug in irish grid coordinates and a gpx file of the route - many thanks

I use google mytracks for hunting and find it brilliant. It won't set grid coordinate but it will track you to within feet on google earth. it's the best I've used by far.

mytracks , especially good when u view your track on google earth, shows mountains v well.

Maverick is really good. I use it all the time and it gives a good range of data. It also accesses an excellent range of online mapping. It is free or you can pay a nominal fee for the pro version.
