Xmas week shopping opening hours

Do the shops in town usually open up a bit earlier (8am-ish) for the week running up to Christmas or have I got that totally wrong? :confused:

Well stephens green is open from 8am to 9pm all day this week bar christmas eve where it closes at 6pm.

Don't know about grafton street or henry street.
