Apple TV strange problems after 4.4.4 update

    I've started having some weird problems with my ATV after updating to 4.4.4.
    It looks like I'll have to try a reset using a micro USB cable but I was wondering if anyone has seen anything like the following.

    First I noticed the podcasts in the favourites section were not my favourites but just the Top Podcasts.

    I can't access my own Youtube subscriptions. I'm logged in but when I click on my username, I get no response.

    I decided to try logging out of itunes and logging back in. But in the General section, clicking on on the itunes option gets no response.

    Same thing for most of the other options in this menu including the Reset option.

    The About and Accessibility options work???

    I can play all my purchased content.

    I tried rebooting but it did nothing. So short of a USB reset I am out of ideas.

    It's very strange behaviour.
