Myself and the better half recently made the decision to emigrate. I sold what bikes and bits I could, packed my bags which included a nice campag groupset and set off for Vancouver. Almost 3 bike-less months have passed and I'm only now getting around to sorting out a ride. I'm still waiting for a few bits and pieces to arrive so I can get started with the build, and I'm very excited about it. I love steel bikes, I love all bikes but hand built steel frames really do it for me. The frame is built by Kelly Bedford, who was formerly the chief builder and designer at Serotta for some 21 years so its safe to assume he's fairly handy at arranging the tubes in the right order. The groupset will be super record, the wheels in the pic are racing 5's with the boy racer stickers removed and look much better for it imo and I'll compile a full list of parts over the next week or so. Anyway I've decided to post some pics and updates as the build progresses.

There has been a few hold ups with the build so this post isn't going along at the pace I would like.
@Feck sake lads you were interested in the tube configuration so here's a run down...
All tubes are True Temper and are Tig welded. Top and biovalled down tubes are S3 and are 31.8mm and 38.1mm respectively all the rest are OX Platinum, The fork is a Serotta S3.
I've been in contact with Kelly, he recently built his own bike with the same configuration and maintains its the lightest steel frame he has made and lighter than his Serotta Legend Ti frame. Its definitley light although I haven't weighed it, I'll wait till its all put together first.
I will hopefully get time to finish it off this weekend although there is only one decision left to make and that's bar tape color. Black seems the obvious choice, although blue or red might work too, any suggestions are welcome.

rule 8 would lead to black every time for me, makes sense really from an aesthetic point of view.
