Error 2002 bad public movie atom

    Hi,
    I know I'm new here, and I possibly am in the wrong place..
    But I took a video on my Nikon camera - that since I have taken it all i get on my PC is this error message : Error 2002 a bad public movie atom was found in the movie (DSCN9755.mov)
    My camera won't play it either i just get an error message there.
    I have downloaded VLC which will play sound, but no picture.

    Usually I wouldnt mind - but the movie is my childs 1st nativity play that lasted 20 mins (the camcorder wasnt charged -- a lesson is now learned)

    Anyways if anyone has any ideas or wants to let me know an appropriate place to post this, I would be very grateful!!
