Im trying to figure out what is the best option for me. do all bike computers record at 10-20 second intervals or is there any that will collect data for each second?

Id like to have a graph for a 1km tt and 10 second intervals would be no good

mavic wintech usb looks interesting, have to check the interval time. that will cost 150euro including sensor.

do garmins have a non gps speedometer option(gps no good for turbo training!)?

Garmin 500 can do every second recording

I use it indoors (Manchester velodrome) - the GPS can be switched off, but then you need the speed sensor

No, you get Garmin Training Centre (which you download onto your PC) and/or Garmin Connect (web-based) for free

Or GoldenCheetah if you want to go nuts with your data.

The Garmin200 (+speed sensor) looks like a good option if you don't need ANT+.

I don't think you can connect a speed sensor to a Garmin200 so it's only use on an indoor trainer is as a timer. The 500 is a better option for the turbo.

You're probably right. The speed sensor is ANT+ so that would make sense.
