Upgrading from Aritech , as its 10 year old and giving faults...
do all the present shock sensors have to be removed for a new system
no landline =want dialler to txt activation.
i know some can have relays to lights etc ... wondered about the heating ..being controlled from system. have newish boiler in kitchen /panel will be upstairs ,,presume a cable has to go from panel to kitchen is this correct? appreciate advice in this regard.
also turn on/off with fob , is this fairly standard now ..can you partset and full set from inside house/any recommendations of a panel

Global sensors can be used with most systems on the market when upgrading your system. Keyfobs can also be used on any hybrid or wire free system.
If using the GSM then a relay can be used to trigger the outputs off a GSM to activate lights or the heating. Another option is X10 with the SPC, this uses the mains cabling to control the X10 devices for the same purpose. Keyfobs are used to set, unset, part set plus have a built in panic.
