    Good to have some decent batteries in reserve for Christmas (for the camera if nothing else):

    Homestore & More have lashings of Duracell Plus AA and AAA 4 + 4 free for €3.99 (mine are Best Before 2018)

    They also have 12 packs of Duracell AA and AA for €5.99 but these are "Simply Duracell" which seem to be one step down the chain from "Plus".

    They also have Kodak Max Alkaline AA and AAA 12 for €3.99.

    have you ever used them??

    I tried them recently.

    Theres a reason why they are cheap.

    They are absolute muck.:eek::rolleyes:

    More power in 1 of my farts,than in 1 of these batteries.

    Dealz Batteries are Kodak branded, and currently €1.49 for 11 AA in Blanchardstown. While possibly not up to Digital Camera use, they are fine for e.g. remote control feeding. I use them all the time for the 3 Million remotes I have at home :-) Happy Christmas
