    Looking at a 1991 mini today- i know its not classic yet but thought i'd get a better reply here.
    Anyways took it for a spin and all is fine. Car looks well apart from a few small rust patches but nothing a mig welder and small coat of filler would sort out.
    Price is haggled down to 450.
    My plan was to do it over the xmas and try to sell it on- But i dont want to buy it if there is no sale for them

    What would it be worth done? overall fairly good condition but is there sale for them?

    1991 would qualify for classic insurance with some companies.

    price is right but Id make sure to use more of the Mig and less of the filler were I you.

    ^^ I agree. You would be hard pressed to get even a decent "only shell" for that price. A 1991 mini (Mayfair/city?) in decent condition as you claim it to be, should be about €1500. If its near on perfect, twice that at least. OP, I would walk away. This is coming from a mini owner with a few minis and has been burnt by dogs of a mini!
