Best Laptop Brand/Model

    Looking at getting a new laptop for basic stuff like word/internet/photos etc what is the best and most reliable brand. Been looking at Asus/Acer/Sony any views on those ?

    I personally always get HP ones. Or Compaq, which are generally a bit cheaper and owned by HP also. I've heard only good things about Toshiba or Lenovo though.

    HP are sh*t, they are the only Brand I wouldn't recommend to someone on here, read back over these pages and you'll see them pop up way more than any other make.
