    Hi all,
Back of my house is facing south and gets the sun.
cleaned the windows yesterday (day off) as they looked awful.
upon completion, they appeared absolutely spotless. but then the winter sun came out, and showed up more smears and streaks, tried again to clean them off and shine them up, but it's impossible really in the sun.
I don't have this problem in Summer months.
What can i do to make them look good when sun is glaring in?

Best thing I ever bought for window cleaning is a set of E-cloths - I bought mine in B&Q, but they can be got in Homebase too.

Really good for streakless windows! You just put them in the washing machine to re use them.

Newspapers and elbow grease. Nothing leaves windows streak free like them. To hell with DI water or windolene.

Remove any loose dirt or bird crap or whatever first.
Wet the glass with a damp sponge or cloth, then roll newspaper into crumpled balls and clean from the top down. Don't let the paper get too wet...even when the lgass appears dry it's not, get an new ball and wipe it down again.
