Hi,
I am going to Italy on 31.12.11 for one week (Pisa) and need to hire a car for that period. I dont have credit cards but I do have a mastercard debit card. Can anyone with experience, advise me if there is any problem with this or likely problems or how best to make sure all goes smoothly ? Anyone rented successfully, particularly in Pisa Airport, with any particular car hire company ???? with a debit card. I cant see why there should be a problem as surely they can simply block the cash on the card plus if I take out maximum insurance cover, shouldnt that be enough ??? Dont want too many risks as I badly need a car.
Would appreciate any replies pls
