    Hi folks.
My girlfriend somehow managed to break a bottle of perfume on our new kitchen table. There is now an area, a small splatter, where its damaged. Its like it took the top coat off the wood. Just wondering what would be the best way to repair this. Cheers folks.

Get it sanded back and resprayed.

It all depends on what the finish is. Obviously it's not an alcohol resistant finish.

For the time being, you could try some furniture wax to see if it will blend in the blemish in the topcoat. Apply it, let it dry and buff off - you might need to give it two or three polishes.
