Have been using a shimano 600 caliper on my fuji track with the standard wheel for about 2 years, then i built up a new wheel with a H+son SL42 rim a while back but now the brake shoes wont adjust high enough to line up with the braking surface on the H+son so the i cant use the wheel..So im now looking at buying a Shimano 105 caliper but is there any chance that the brake shoes wont adjust high enough on this caliper too??

Use a ruler/tape and measure the distance from the centre of the brake caliper Bolt to the center of the Wheel brake surface.

says on chainreaction the 105 has a 49mm drop, would that the maximum or minimum though??
