Oh dear, tell me more. I got it on adverts for my daughter who's with Meteor. Looking like she'll have to port her number to Voda then

It will take a few days, won't be too cheap, but at least it will be a discounted official unlock and you'll be able to download updates without fear of turning your iphone into a novelty drink coaster.

any more information on that website?
doesnt seem to have any iphones listed under 3 ireland...
i also dont see any info on buying credits, how much are 28 credits? they say its 28 to unlock an iphone on all of the irish networks?

    EDIT- 30 Credits is €32
Going by the forums, there arent any Three Ireland iPhone unlocks yet...hmmm

Are there any other trustworthy unlocking website?
Found unlock.ie aswell but again,no 3 Ireland unlocks

I honestly dont see how those shops have a way of officially unlocking iPhones.

    That unlock.ie is 87.50e compared to 120e with allgsmunlock.com

Anyone used unlock.ie? Are they ok? They are saying 7 days so either way i'll have to temporarily port her number to Vodafone for a week or two

Only way for the official unlock is from a carrier submitted request.....can you elaborate on the above method ?

do you know anybody with a Vodafone bill pay number?
I have gotten 2 PAYG Vodafone iPhones unlocked by this method.
One from my dads account and one from my cousins account.

It was an upgrade on a 24 month contract so can't do it that way. Thanks all the same

sounds about right, as you can only do it with Vodafone and O2 in ireland.

So is there a chance if apple can trace these unlocks that they will then relock the phones or will they just go after the employees submitting the IMEI's?
    Interesting!
