    Got my first comp win today :-)

    Had 37pts in a 14 hole comp. I knew there was something coming as I had 30pts yesterday without really fully firing and have been consistently scoring better than my hcp for last 6 weeks.

    At least your heading into the new year on form and going the right way.

    Im hoping the lessons and the extra practice I put in will have me going that way too.

    Havn't played in 3 weeks though and itching.:mad:

    Yeah lessons are the way to go for sure. Having blindly tweaked this and tweaked that constantly over the summer listening to advice from other lads, I went for a lesson 2 months ago and haven't looked back since.

    Yeah that's a temporary cut. Hoping to maybe get cut on general play too though as I've been scoring v well lately

    That General Play revision probably won't happen till Spring, if it happens at all. I was in the same boat last year, you'd be amazed at what I had to do to get cut, seemed like getting a prize every other week wasn't enough!

    Well done on the good form though - hard to be patient I know but even if you don't get cut, with scoring like that you will drop down once qualifying starts, then you might be lamenting the days you were able to clean up :)
