I haven't gone out on NYE in years.

    It's a stupid celebration.

Oh look at us we've 'achieved' another revolution of the Sun.

    Yay!

Would you care for another one to babysit so that I do not have to spend New Years Eve on boards? :D

I'll be at Jools Hootenanny in my living room. With chicken wings. Crying.

Was thinking the same myself but if its anything like last night, I might be giving Jools Holland some viewing this year. Pubs in my town were empty last night. Shocking sign of the times.

Depends how I feel. Im not overly one that always feels like going out, and also depends if somebody asks me/who's going. Chances are I will be online new years eve. Just another night to me, I dont see why I would have to go out.

Drinks at a relative's house for the night is planned, I can't stand the messiness of that night in pubs/clubs. Ill be continuing to lurk in after hours on my phone though.

I'm taking my first NYE off in 10 years!

Going to head to that shindig in College Green for the craic.

Paul Brady, Damien Dempsey, much respect,
I absolutlely can't stand the C*r*nas or that other eejit but it'll be a bit of a buzz around the streets anyway!

Fireworks, Riverdance, and sneaky naggins, sure why not.

I might as well go out seeing as there won't be a New Years Eve next year, end of the World and all that. Damn them lazy Mayans for not extending the calendar another couple of years.

One of the good things about having kids is that you can dodge going out on NYE. It was always a big, expensive anti-climax. Far better nights to go out on over Christmas.

I'll be necking all the beer, wine, shots and cocktails I can.
I'll be ogling wimmins in their state of semi-dress.
I will be smoking a fine Cuban cigar (or two).
There will be an inordinate amount of hugging and kissing.

Not too dissimilar to most weekends really apart from the lack of taxis home after.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

I haven't gone for New Year's for yonks. Everywhere is alternately either packed or dead, no middle ground ever for some reason, and the night crackles with fake sincerity. Eurgh.

I like to spend it at home with loved ones, eating lots of nommy food and ignoring the cringe-worthy TV countdown.

Stephen's Night is always a goody.
