I did, it arrived last week, just had it sized and it went back in its box

I got it from http://www.orientuhren.de and I have Peasant to thank for that, after he posted about their site a few months ago and brought them to my attention

    Kinda, though months ago. :)

Errmm, yes. I appear to have found a watch that is exactly the same as a watch that I already own apart from an extra LCD display on the dial; time will tell if all is as it should be and, otherwise, I hope that PayPal protection will kick in.

Nothing to see here, move along there, move along.

Thanks to Homer, I am now the owner of a lovely Sottomarino Italia Pilotage.

All wrapped up and under the tree, waiting for me :)

    A Casio Edifice EQW-M1100DB-1AER:

I just liked the look of it, and my collection seemed to be missing a stupidly complicated quartz chrono packed with functionality of questionable usefulness!

Christmas present to self, bought yesterday.

Brandnew, unworn, 23 year old Vostok Amphibia handwind in my favourite octagonal case for 30 quid.

Should be the first arrival for 2012

    Happy Christmas to me!

    Vostok-Amphibian-3a.jpg

Brand new Vostok Amphibia just arrived. It's a very substantial watch as you can see from the picture on my relatively small wrist. I've had to resize the strap in the short term but I'll change it shortly as it's not the nicest.

@Peasant - love the dial on that watch.

I'm not in the same country as this at the moment but this arrived last week. I've now got the set.

The watch above arrived a few days ago.

    Surprise packaging:
    187610.jpg
no laughing in the cheap seats there ...for a Soviet era box this is actually quite classy and good quality.

Came with a nice brown waterproof leather strap as well
    187611.jpg

overall in great condition and amost as new all round ...this thing is 23 years old after all ...keeps very good time too
    187612.jpg

    except for one flaw ...
This watch has been sitting unused in somebodies' display case for so long that the hour hand has left a permanent shadow near 7 o'clock (which was conveniently covered in the sellers' picture of course). There is another shadow from the minute hand at 13 past, but that's not as obvious (and invisible in the pics)

ah well ...just don't look at it too closely:D

I'm still very happy with it

I've been looking for one of them for yonks CB. I have the Heuer Bund and always wanted one of these(one of the very few quartz I'd hanker after). Fair play as they don't show up that often at all.
