    right im useless at all this stuff, android means internet t me etc maybe it is i dont know , my daughters surprise this year i hope ! is an internet tab abt the 160 mark max ! all i need to know is whats a decent make and what should i be lookg for in specs , bearing in mind shes into fb , youtube , pics , vids usual teenage stuff , not sure it wud be compatible wot my eirc*m bb at home as in wireless ? please if anyone can guide me to a decent onloine seller , adverts ebay etc id be so gratefill , ThaNX , Laura :confused:

    You won't get a delivery before Christmas if you buy online & your budget isn't going to get much from a normal retailer. You might want to take a look at the Archos 70 (Not the Archos 7).

    Pixmania have them for €180 & can deliver before Christmas

    cheers for gthat reply , i was looking at ebay (irish sellers) and adverts etc so bitta luck ill get somthin before sat ! can i just ask do i need a certain android spec , 2.2 and 2.3 seem to differ in price and ive no idead why

    I would concentrate on getting a reasonable make. Avoid cheap Chinese tablets. Also be aware that Arnova are not the same as Archos - they look identical but nowhere near as good.

    The Archos 70 has a proper capacitive touchscreen & reviewers say that it is good with music & video. At 7 ins it is also very portable. There are a couple on adverts.ie

    That Pixmania deal seems pretty good for a new one. I would expect to pay around €130 for a used one but the new will be better regarding warranty etc. They will all drop in price after Christmas :D

    By the way they are only £99 in Carphone Warehouse but only in the UK in case you had someone there who could get you one.
