Shimano SLX M666 rear brake caliper

I recently built a On-One Inbred mtb with chainstay disc brake mounts so I had to run the brake hose along the chainstay and under the down tube because my Deore brake hose connection is fixed in direction. The new SLX M666 caliper seems to have an adjustable direction hose connection. If it has, then I would fit one so that I could run the brake hose up along the seatstay and under the top tube which all have zip-tie brackets.
    Any Info. welcome. :(

You should be fine with the m-666 as it has an adjustable banjo fitting.

Thanks for your reply, so my next question is --- will my existing (rather elderly) fixed position Deore hose fit the banjo connection? It is the "standard" olive & insert screw in type.If not, what will I need?

I'm not 100% on this but I had a look for you.
If you're lucky the new slx caliper may come with a new hose with the banjo fitting already on it.

If not this fitting should do the trick http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=63851
You would remove the old fixed fitting and then fit this one.

Or you should be able to purchase the shimano hose with the fitting on it.

If you're old lever is deore it won't have servo wave and I don't know how well it will match up with a newer caliper.
