R4i Upgrade Revolution

    Got this card from a friend to fix as he couldn't get it to work. I've downloaded the latest R4-i English V1.42 software and put it on the sdcard but all I get is the red menu error.

    Must get this working before xmas for him for the kids so any help would be greatly appreciate. I've used it both on a 1.4 NDSL and 1.4E NDSiXL

    What's your directory structure on the SD card?

    From a quick google it looks like should have R4.dat in the root directory, and R4iMenu as a directory. You may also have a moonshell directory.

    Edit: Just had another quick look. There might be an issue with your SD card. Try formatting your SD card first.

    Thanks for the reply, I formatted the card with the Panasonic SD formatter. Will have a look at the card structure and get back

    Just in case the panasonic formatter is doing anything weird, try just formatting in Windows explorer (right click, format).

    The site is terrible to download from. Takes an hour to download the 20mb .rar file and it must have been corrupted or something. Just downloaded it again there and this time there were more files within the .rar file.
    Just linked the file there.

    Just click on the underlined part of the address
