New MW3 bug random appearance of loud white noise during gameplay

This has been happening for over the last week and it's not just me the guys I play with have noticed it as well, I get this really loud distorted white noise that comes out on both tv speakers and sharkoon headset voice comms are fine, last one appeared for me tonight when a stealth bomber was called in! They need to sort this before it damages someone's tv or headset. Anyone else get this?

I get it regularly enough with my headset (Like.. once every 2 sessions i guess), not specific to MW3 tho, used to happen in blops and other games aswel. Don't know if it comes out the tv speakers tho cause its usually muted.

Just reading on AVforums seems everyone is having this random issue, have to say I've never had it on any of the other COD titles, also it's PS3 specific, Might be a console issue but MW3 seems to set it off might be poor coding.

had it twice, was wondering what it was, just a burst of static for a few seconds, weird.

Same here goes on for 30-60 seconds for me aswell

I've had it as well, glad to hear its a mw3 problem and not my tv!

ye i've heard a few audio bugs. the worst was i got the level promotion noise over and over again for like 5 mins , had to mute the tv, thought it was going to explode

Happened to me twice and scared the crap out of me, t'was really loud. Good to hear its not my t.v

Yeah happened to me a couple of times on the PS3. First time it happened thought I was being hacked. It is unmercifully loud.
