Turkish coffee is as much about the brewing method as the actual coffee as far as I know.
It is thick, unfiltered, sludgy and very much an acquired taste. It took several in Istanbul for me to not find it tasting of stagnant water. Very nice once you get used to the taste. Also the sugar is brewed into it as you can't stir it as the fine grinds settle to the bottom of the cup.

Cork, I don't know. However, nom.

Question: why not make it at home? Turkish coffee is the cooking method: you need to bring it to the boil 3 times. It's not too complicated.
