Are there any locking devices out there for Upvc double french doors.

Looking for something that could be screwed into place on the inside of the french doors to give an extra bit of security at night or when out of the house.

Anything out there for Upvc french doors then?

    Thanks.:).

    Hi OP,

I actually got exactly what you're looking for installed a few weeks ago. See attached photos.
I also got tamper proof screws on the inside & outside, so the handle can't be taken off - these screws only tighten, and can't be unscrewed, so it stops anyone taking the lock or handle off the door.

Got it done by Dublin Key & Hardware on the Malahide Road (near Donnycarney Church). Ask for Bret - he stocks all of the bits, or they can install if needed.

Thanks, but that lock is for a sliding patio door and not for a set of french double doors.

Use the key to unlock it and walk out the door - like any lock. You only need to unlock 1 of them anyway. Same key works both locks too.

French double doors open outwards or inwards, like a normal hinged door does.

That bolt is for a sliding patio door, which is a completely diferent type of door.

That bolt shown above will therefore not work on a french double door.;):P

He did make up his mind - he said French Doors - not sliding patio doors. He never contradicted himself. That lock you posted wouldn't work with French Doors.
