    hi all,
    was thinking about getting a 130/150 vw bora or golf,the thing is will i get insured on them?
    im 20,have 3 yrs ncb,full licence 2 penalty points,i know they wont give an online quote for a 130 but im sure if i had a good argument with them id get insured,insurance is in my own name,im with quinn,some lads say that if you tell them you have the car bought they have to insure you on it,any truth in this?. . .am i at nothing getting a 150 or will i be roasted with insurance?

    Ah yes the insurance giants, parked on high stools, full of porther, talking out their exhaust pipes, experts on everything except standing, talking coherently and walking straight. No it is not true and never was

    The only ones who can answer this question are the insurance companies. Anything here is just speculation.

    If you get a written refusal from 5 different insurance companies you can go back to the first one and they must give you a quote. This may have been reduced to 3 insurance companies recently.
