An open appeal to womenfolk this close to christmas

Think back over the last few weeks, have you mentioned to anyone (esp male) that there is something nice that you would love to get?

Well ffs do NOT buy it for yourself this close to christmas!

My gf just landed back with the exact same thing i got her as part of her christmas present.

she guessed by my reaction that something was up and figured out why.

Now i'm f*cked, do i leave mine back? She says no don't but now part of the whole christmas surprise is ruined for her i feel.

So please for all our sakes keep your money in your pocket for another week?

hey tell you what they can buy clothes (cause guys generally know nothing about that kinda stuff) but the things she "hinted" at, can we make them off limits? Or at least give us fair warning that they might buy it before we do?

well she says the ones she was really looking for weren't there that she was looking at before cause they are under the tree!

so if i leave them back she won't have the one's she really wanted but if i don't then as i said it takes some of that surprise outta christmas morning

exchange no bother, if it is a piece of jewellery there might be a matching piece you could get to go with it for similar value (bracelet/earrings)

Are you talking about charms for a bracelet or something? Bit of detail here man, your girlfriend already knows what you got her so it's not as if she'll be surprised if she finds this thread.

If I'm following what you're saying she basically bought something similar but not the exact same thing as you bought (she would actually prefer the one you bought), and that the problem here is the lack of surprise on Christmas morning. Just go out and buy her some random little bits and pieces for under the tree surprises.

they are stack rings, i bought 4 she bought 2 that she wasn't happy about as i had already bought the ones she had wanted (i think)

ah ok, that is tricky then, pity you gave yourself away. No point returning them, she'll probably be happier to have them, but as Jaxxy said I would get something small that would be a surprise.
