    Dell Inspiron 15R / 2.0 Ghz / 4GB / 500GB / Win 7

CPU : Intel P6100 Dual Core 2.0 Ghz
    MEMORY : 4096MB (2X2048) 1333MHZ DDR3
    HARD DRIVE : 500GB SERIAL ATA (5400RPM)
    OPTICAL DRIVE : 8X DVD+/-RW DRIVE
LCD BACK COVER : MARS BLACK
    CAMERA : INTEGRATED 1.3 MEGAPIXEL
    DISPLAY : 15.6IN HIGH DEFINITION (1366X768)
    WIRELESS : DELL WIRELESS 1501 (802.11G/N)

For 380 euro, would this run Minecraft, Sims, bit of Modern Warfare smoothly? Or would I be better off putting my money into building a gaming pc? Cheers all.

That is not a gaming machine. Not in any way shape or form. So to answer your question, no no no no no.

It might run minecraft, which i believe is pretty light on resources, but otherwise no.

You'll need to save your pennies and spend 600 imo. That'd get you a fine machine.
