How long to get through T1?

I'll be arriving into DUB on the 1st Jan at 10.45am with LX. I'm flying in C and my bags will be marked as priority. I need to clear non-eu immigration, but my previous experience is that there is never normally any significnt queue for that. I have to then catch a bus and there is one leaving at 11.15 and the other at 11.45. Do people think i would have any chance of making the 11.15 bus? i know it's tight but don't really fancy sitting aroung on a bus waiting for half an hour either. I need to pre-book my ticket so i have to make a decision.

    Thanks,
    Mel.b

Really depends on your airlines handling agent which in this case is Sky Handling Partner. Your process of disembarkation will take 10min Immigration max 5-10 min and waiting on your baggage 5min or more..

My suggestion would be for you to get the 1145 Bus

T1 is alot more quiet now than possibily your previous experience which will help.

As you are in C class and will be on an airbridge you will be one of the first off so it should mean you will be the first from your flight in the EU-Immigration queue. Non EU-Immigration can be hit and miss at that time depending on inbound flights in Pier B where you will come in bit it's normally quick enough. Maybe 5-10 as An Udaras posted.

Priority bags will/should come up the belt first and the belt in questions is usually No 7 or 8 which is just beside the exit. Again time from aircraft to there is nornally 10mins.

The bus stops are either directly outside the main door or a 3-5 minute walk accross to the coach park depending on what company you are using.

I personally would aim for the 11.45 bus as its Jan 1st and naturally everything and everyone will be working at 80% pace :o

Non-EU often has the least queues due to people not realising that if empty, you can use it regardless.

I would imagine that without bags you'd definitely make the first bus, but with them you may be relying on the flight being precisely on time - so book the 11:45 to avoid an insane rush.

Unfortunately one thing I find at DUB is that priority bags rarely appear first but are in the general mix of baggage.

I'd allow time to get the 1145 service.

I concur. Allowing 30 mins to get on the bus seems fine but it is cutting it fine. A simple taxiing or baggage could scupper you.

I have priority baggage with Star alliance.

Not once landing in Cork/Dublin have I got my bag in any sort of "priority" time.
    Give yourself some time!

Also what if your flight is late and you miss the 11:45 one?
    Bit risky anyway no?
