cheap ebay tablets

any opinions on these cheap taplets that are avilable on ebay and the likes folks? are they worth a gamble for the 100-150 euro? i fancy one for browsing the web/playing games etc but i dont want to hand out big money for one. i have an android smart phone but the screen is to small and its hard on the eyes if you use it for any lenght of time.

can these tablets be used as a kindle aswell because i read a lot.
i wouldnt need a 3g tablet as it will only be used in the house.

my phone has android 2.3 i think but a lot of these tablets have 2.2. would there be much of a differance?

im on a tight budget so an ipad and the likes are out of the question:D

I bought a 7" Android tablet a little while back.Its a little slow for browsing, but plays movies and audio fine. Android 2.2, couldn't tell you the difference between that and 2.3, but apparently you need 2.3 for skype to use the camera that faces you. My one has some issues with the official Android Market too.Mine is 800MHz, 256MB ram,4GB flash memory

Got a couple of those cheap tablets on ebay, 7" MID. They are kinda what u would expect from a cheap tablet (mind you I got the two of them from hong kong for under 90 euro)

Perfect for kids to fool around with though, you can change the rom on them too if you have a mcro sd card. I found plenty of roms online that work and make the screen more responsive, and give you the proper android markets too. The screens are nearly all capacitive on the cheap tablets so it does feel a little slow anyway..

Wouldnt pay the 100 to 150 euro price unless it had a resistive screen

would a 7inch screen be too small??

The last two ebay ones are the same as the ones i got for under 50 euro each delivered from hong kong

Have no experience of the other ones but all seem to have capacitive screens too so personally wouldnt pay that much for them
