    Just posting something that the nice people at Public Jobs sent to (I guess) everyone who's registered for notifications of clerical jobs ... its not for me, might be an option for some though:

    The European Personnel Selection Office has been in touch with this office to advise that a number of applicants have commenced applying for the following jobs, but have not completed the application process.
    AST 1 Assistants in the secretarial field - aiming at /fluent/native speakers, whose primary language is either Irish or English:
    Closing Date: at 11.00 A.M. on Tuesday 20th December 2011
    75 applicants commenced the application process, but only:
    19 completed the validated/completed their applications for the English Language posts
    4 completed the validated/completed theri applications for the Irish Language posts
    There are 18 vacancies for the Irish Language posts
    There are 79 vacancies for the English Language posts
    If you are among these applicants wishing to apply for these posts, please ensure you complete the application process as soon as possible. Should you have any difficulty in completing the application process, please contact EPSO.

    And there are some that say that nobody ever got any work out of the Irish language..
