Last week the 65 was supposed to be having its service reduced, now there are sporadic extra departures... offering increased passenger capacity penetrating into Blessington, serving some roundabouts 5 times. All part of Network Direct Phase 752 :)

Apparently suspicions were aroused when he accepted a Leap Card from a passenger without printing a ticket, the cops were immediatly alerted and he was pulled over!

He may used a leap card while going over to Ringsend:D, if that were true I think he would have the driver telling him that.

There is a possibility that the passengers could have spotted that he was wearing the company uniform which is of course.......AHEM

    STOLEN!

The management would not like that one bit. They are thinking that way already.

When we was arrested on the night, he could have said to the Gardai ''AH SURE, BEEP IT''.

(Quote in bold coming from a former teacher if you must know)

Didn't some lad rob a bus and go on a huge rampage in Dublin about 10 years ago? I vaguely remember seeing something about it, or maybe Im just dreaming of a movie or something.

Was that Bottler (Brendan Grace) and his mates? They stole a double-decker because one of them wanted to have a smoke on the way home!

More recently than that - it was a Dualway driver on the Naas Road.

Was it not some bloke on the Naas road who killed a couple of pedestrians a couple of years ago?

He was going to steal a 65b but realised it would have left him with a bit of a walk! :)

All joking aside, thankfully noone was injured, was there damage done to the bus?

I'm planning on robbing a 40 and putting 78a on the destination scroll. Bus will terminate at Finches on Neilstown Road though ;)

Yeah that was it. It was like something of GTA. Is that lad in prison still or what?

At least he got further than this lad: http://www.galwaynews.ie/15812-man-arrested-after-bus-taken-and-crashed-galway who only managed to go around one corner before crashing!

Anyone know the length of time between his leaving the company "voluntary", and the bus leaving the garage "involuntarily"?
