Bob Arum told Marquez "It's just Business...."

Apparently, Bob told Marquez that the decision in the Pacquiao fight was "just business" suggesting that Marquez winning would have been bad for him and Top Rank. To me it sounds like he was implying that maybe the judges were fixed?

    I don't, and some judges didn't.

I have no issue with someone scoring it for Juan. But, how the hell anyone can say with certainty that he won puzzles me. It was a crap fight overall. Difficult to score or award it to any man.

I don't see how anyone can think Manny won, He was totally outclassed.

Maybe folks who dislike Manny and want him to lose and look bad saw this. I saw different.

I don't dislike him nor did I want him to look bad, I just thought Marquez deserved the win.

Yes, but you are ramming it home. I said I have no issue with anyone awarding the fight to JMM; you want to say it was absolute clear cut. I really think it was not. Horrible fight, close, difficult to score. That to me suggests that you want Manny to look bad. If you really think it was clear cut, then fair enough. I just do not see that.

Horrible fight on Mannys part, Yes.

Beautiful fight on Marquez part, He outboxed Manny and made him look ordinary.
For 38 year old to do what he did was astonishing,
Mainly by walking to Mannys left.

Manny had no answer, Great fight. If the fight was in anyway boring that was down to Manny, he refused to exchange.

his training mate Khan saw it this way. It was a crap fight but imo Marquez was a clear winner. But if Marquez wins Mannys stock goes down and to many people lose money...

I'll repeat what I said unresponded to in an earlier thread - I understand you're point that you feel Pac Man may have deserved his win, but I think if the majority of boxing fans would say JMM won. Considering JMM certainly had a case to have won both previous fights, Would you agree that the decision was harsh? Personally I scored the contest 116-112 to JMM so perhaps I was a little more shocked than some at the result, but did you honestly expect Manny's hand to be raised at the end of the fight? Like myself, I'm sure there are a decent few that fully expected JMM's hand to be raised - I don't think even Pac Man's biggest fans were confident after the bell rang, and IMO that's saying something.

JMM was robbed big time. If anyone tought Manny won this fight they must be masterburating about him every night or else they're a close relation to Arum.
